MY NEW YEARS RESOLUTION IS..
Robin.. To get a baby daddy Sonny.. to get my tubes tied Liz.. to invest in birth control Michael JR.. to take over the "family business" Jason.. to be the best superhero Port Charles has ever seen! Luke.. to eat better and stay healthy...not! Sam.. to have a real storyline! Lulu.. to fall inlove with Logan.. I mean Johnny.. wait no Spinelli...better yet Sonny (they all run to him anyway) Nicholas..to find out wtf is wrong with my brain Lucky..me too ( and to have a son of my very own!) Ric.. to get some ass Spinelli..what Ric said Dr Kelly.. to call Ric and Spinelli Text message killer.. to get unlimitted texts! and acquire an endless supply phone chords ;-) Cooper.. to do love with a phone chord! Logan..Lulu..Lulu..Lulu..Lulu..Lulu..ohhh Lulu! Monica/Bobby/Felicia.. to get movement in our faces Maxie.. to find a boyfriend with a personality Spencer.. to be somebodys son! Dr Patrick.. to obtain more mirrors (can never have enough of myself) Carly.. to not butt into anybody's business... "Max, where's Sonny?" Jax.. to be the best daddy to Sonny's kids! WTF? LOL aka My Reaction To Felicia and Michael
Hey guys! I wanted to post this sooner, but with all of the holiday craziness, I got sidetracked. Speaking of, I hope all of you enjoyed and continue to enjoy the holiday season...and be safe!
Ok, moving on. Everything I'm covering here is from Thursday 12/20. As everyone is well aware....Georgie is dead. And what better way to mourn her than bring on her never seen, hardly mentioned mom, right? So I'm all anxious, waiting to see Felicia throw herself at the mercy of Maxie and Mac. Finally! Maxie can rightfully flip on her mother for not being there for the time her heart gave out. Or when her boyfriend died. Or when she was stealing drugs for her married lover. Or when said married lover dumped and she tried to OD. Or when she was locked in a vault all night in a hotel that was set to explode. Boy, was Felicia going to feel terrible!
So here she comes into the house and at first glance I knew this was not going to turn out like I had expected.
Enter WTF?
First off, not a knock or a ring of the bell, she just comes in like she still lives there. And then I notice how great she looks, which is wonderful for Kristina Wagner, b/c she really looks good, but would a mother who's daughter just died look this put together....I mean even for a soap world? And I am certainly not sensing a grieving mom, the only sense I get from her is someone nostalgic, as she looks around the house, with what I think was a frown.
But wait, Maxie almost hiys her with a fire poker! And wouldn't anyone when you think a stranger is barging in your house when your sister is just murdered? But I guess Felicia the Selfish didn't think of that until it was almost too late.
Then Felicia goes in for the hug....but Maxie wants an explanation, damnit! Not a hug. That's when Felicia drops the F bomb. No, not that F bomb! This is, after all, daytime television! No, this F bomb is Frisco! He needed her for some secret mission, and he was in dire condition, and he's her true love, and Mariah is in a nursing home, and it was too dangerous to call, and blah, blah, blah. Maxie isn't buying this ish. And I don't blame her, because as Felicia may be apologizing, she isn't 100% sorry and she has the nerve to ask Maxie to not ask her to regret her time with Frisco. WHAT? Maxie is supposed to be okay with the fact that she and her sister have been through serious stuff where they needed their mom, but it's okay that she wasn't there b/c she was with her father who doesn't give 2 craps about her? Right.....
And btw, where the hell is Frisco? And does he even send his condolenses? And why did Felicia start sobbing as if on cue when Robin came in? And why, for all that is holy, did Kristina Wagner adopt Maddona's version of the British accent? So many questions, and the answers are not good enough for me. But I did enjoy the scene with Maxie and Dillon....I teared up a bit at that.
Oh, and Kirsten Storms for an Emmy in '08. Absoulutley love her.
Okay, now on to Michael, the mini-mobster-in training. I didn't catch this episode when it first aired because I was at work. So when I got home, I looked to the recaps and message boards to see what I had missed. And boy, were you guys pissed! Apparently Michael was all but putting hits on people. No, actually, he was kind of doing that, too. So I stood up late to catch the episode on SoapNet. I just had to see what the hell was going on with this mini-mobster.
Enter LOL.
I know it's not supposed to be funny. But I really did laugh out loud. Do see this little boy asking his dad to "take someone out" is ridiculous. Of course TPTB did eventually have to do this story, but what they are doing to this little kid is absurd!
Michael goes to a private school. Now, I myself attened Catholic school and I can assure you that no child gets off of that campus, or at that age, even tried for that matter. So if I were Carly or Sonny, I would being looking into the school system.
So Carly and Sonny are all mad at Michael for wanting to be a mobster, just like his dad. How sweet. No, not really. If there was ever any reason (and I think having his children kidnapped and one presumed dead was good enough) to get out of the mob, here it is. But no. Instead the writers want us to think that it's cute that a child wants to be a killer. We should have gotten the cue when Michael started slicking back his hair like St. Jasus that there would be trouble.
And Carly thought the Quartermaine lifestyle would be uniftting to raise a family? Yeah, they are dysfunctional, but with the exception of Jason, none of their children went to Monica or Alan, asking them to off anyone.

Some More on Sarah....Oh, I Cannot Wait For Confirmations!
Okay, guys. I have some more on the Sarah Brown front. Apparently at a fan appearance, Steve Burton confirmed that he heard the rumors of Sarah's return. He said that if she returns, it will not be as Carly. Take that for what it's worth....but this much I believe.

Sarah Joy Brown is returning to the soap that gave her career a jolt - General Hospital. But there's a twist. According to insiders, the Emmy-winning actress will not assume the role of Carly which she originated back in 1996 and is now played by Laura Wright.
Since leaving GH in 2001, Brown has continually found work for herself. Some may recognize her from a one year stint as Julia on As the World Turns beginning in 2004. Many remember Brown from her many guest appearances in prime-time, including "The Closer," "Cold Case," and "The Perfect Husband: The Laci Peterson Story." Brown also enjoyed a venture into film with her role as Constance in "Big Momma's House" in 2006.
Regarding her return to General Hospital, however, the question is if she's not Carly, then who the heck is she? Will anyone recognize that familiar face? Sounds like Head Writer Robert Guza has a few surprises up his sleeve once the new year kicks off!
Those close to the General Hospital set tell Soapdom that Brown is expected to play a rival mob boss. In addition, the powers that be are also considering pairing her character with Jason (Steve Burton). Guess Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) is out of the picture!
More specifically, here's what we know so far:
Brown will be playing Angela Zacharra, Anthony's daughter and Johnny's sister. Her first scene will be her showing up at Sonny's to talk, but finds Jason instead. We've learned that Brown's Angela is calling upon the "Zacchara" rivals because she wants to help them take control of her father's territory. Why the treachery? Brown's Angela loves her brother Johnny but hates Trevor. The icing on the cake is that Angela will also have a past with Ric.
General Hospital, although a tad tight lipped, has confirmed that Brown is indeed returning to GH. It should be noted that Brown also makes mention of her return to General Hospital on her official website.
Look for the actress to first air as Angela in January 2008. We can't help wonder if she'll have sparks with Sonny. Stay tuned.

Some More Rumors on Sarah Brown aka The Guardian Angel Sent to Help This Show
These are just rumors, so take them with a HUGE grain of salt. But I wanted to pass you guys all the info I can until we find out what's what with this exciting development. Now....go ahead and read. All credit goes to SD. I found these rumors on the Soapcentral message board.
* SBr's first scenes will air in January 2008. *
